Be safe!
Date: 2012-07-24 01:03 am (UTC)I'm actually glad to hear that they are still investigating to find the cause for two reasons. First it's good to know they are willing to look until they find it and not just claim 'operator error' and secondly if it's that hard to find it then it isn't likely to be a problem with the regular operating process.
I work in construction, (I'm a carpenter,) and we had two deaths last year on a site I had been working on the month before. They was killed when a boom lift truck they were using rolled over due to uneven ground. I knew the carpenters and I knew the site and all I could think was would I have driven where they did and think I was being safe enough the way they obviously did?
I know you don't know me, I came here following your writing, but I wanted to let you know there was another woman who enjoys working in her hard hat, stained jeans and work boots out there who is glad you're working safe.
