The Stages of Writing - Like the stages of grief, but for those of us who write.

1. This is the GREATEST IDEA IN THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD!
2. Wow, I have all these great ideas for scenes, and I love writing them down!
3. Huh, this is getting longer than I anticipated, but it's still going to be good.
4. Damnit, I'm 10,000 words into the story and I haven't gotten to the really awesome part yet!
5. OMG, why can't I finish this bitch?
6. &@#$*, I need to rewrite half the story to make it make sense. Kill me now.
7. This is the WORST STORY EVAR and I'm going to delete it all and go live as a hermit and never touch a computer or pencil again!
8. Must. Finish. Before. Deadline. Even if it kills me. I don't care if the story is about a dead fish tied to someone's head at this point, I just want it to be over!
9. What? Someone said it was actually good?
