My problem isn't the runaway songs stuck in my head. (Although the worst part is that when I *do* get songs stuck in my head, they're invariably A) jingles with like, two lines, or B) songs I know the tune but only two lines of.)

My problem is that I can plot stuff and recite dialogue and whatever just *fine* when I'm away from a keyboard. But when I sit down to actually write it? Um. Hello? I knew I had some story lying around, where'd it go?
