The How It Should Have Gone Meme!

For those of you that haven't seen 3x25 "Invisible Thread" yet, don't look below the LJ-cut.

For those of you that have seen "Invisible Thread," by now, you know what has to be done. We must write... How It Should Have Gone!

To say I was horribly disappointed by the deaths of Sylar and Nathan is an understatement. This was fuckery of the highest degree, and it must be addressed immediately!

To all authors, I beg of you to write how it should have gone. What if Peter and Claire hadn't left? What if Noah had remembered about Claire's healing blood? What if Peter came in to find Nathan dead? What if Parkman refused to mind-rape Sylar? Make the ending happy, make the ending sad, but we must write something better than the gut-wrenching horribleness of Sylar!Nathan.

I too will be writing my version of the ending, but I thought we needed a collection place (or an excuse) for more people to get in on the action. Post your "Shoulds" in the comments, or post the links to your LJs where your "Shoulds" reside.

We all need as many "Shoulds" as possible to wipe the ending out of our brains! Write, my pretties, write for our lives and our sanity!

Dude, seriously. You know, I really see it as major OOC for Parkman to commit rape. No matter how wrecked Angela looked, and how bad he felt for her. Just don't see it. And, hey! What happens when Not!Nathan doesn't age or mysteriously heals the cut he gets from shaving? No one's gonna notice? Cause to me it looks like they've basically just mad it a surprise problem for Claire. And that's not cool, either.

Also....Nathan! Oh, my poor, sweet Nathan!!!!

I'm working on a fic that kinda deals with Nathan dying alone and I might change it now so that Peter gets some closure. Hopefully I should have it up tonight.

Got an idea that I might develop into a fic postulating Angela's dream, and how Matt was supposed to help. See there is the time factor for one. Somehow she got to Matt and convinced him soon enough for them to get upstairs. Or there was a longer delay downstairs before Peter and Nathan headed up to confront Sylar. In any event, Sylar goes to kill Nathan, but here's the rub. Somebody's throat is being slit, and Sylar leaves the room. However! It's then revealed that it was Angela being killed in Nathan's place. Nathan of course hates this idea, but there wasn't enough time to do anything.

Peter confronts Sylar, tranqs him, and then there is the matter of deciding how many itty bitty pieces of Sylar need to be cut up burned and the ashes scattered.

You still have the sacrifice, Matt doing something borderline dark, but it's still in keeping with the dream of him saving Nathan.

Peter should have found Nathan-shaped Sylar, pretended to be clueless, and served him the tried and tested Petrelli Hug of BetrayalTM to steal his power, thus eliminating the need for a violent face-off.

Ok, I promised I'd write it, and I did. Here's my take on "An Invisible Thread" - Heroine.

BTW, some of these other ideas look great guys! I can't wait to see them!

This is just a tiny bit of sarcasm while I work on the big epic fix-fest I've started.
